Independent Game Studio

Every world we build
starts on a hill.

Grammont Games is a one-person indie studio building tactical worlds worth exploring. Right now, that means Aotera — a card game where the ground itself decides the war.

01 — CREATURES

Your champions

Power, toughness, and a personality of their own — the core of every offensive line.

02 — TERRAINS

The battlefield itself

Ten kinds of ground, each turning the right creature into a nightmare for your opponent.

03 — BUFFS

Lasting power

Permanent boosts that turn a starting pup into a legend, one stack at a time.

04 — SPELLS

The final word

One well-timed incantation can undo an entire turn of careful planning.

Who's Behind This

One person. Named after the hill above my village.

Grammont — the hill the studio is named for. Still visible from the window I work at.

Hi — I'm a solo developer, and Grammont Games is just me. Design, code, art, the website you're reading right now, all one person in a small room with a view of the hill I named it after.

I got into making games the same way most people do: by playing too many of them and wanting to know how the good ones worked. Grammont started as evenings and weekends, and slowly turned into the only thing I wanted to be doing.

I build small, focused worlds with real mechanical depth — the kind of game that rewards the same patience it takes to walk to the top of that hill and back down. Aotera is my first release. It won't be my last.

No publisher, no crunch, no filler — just one person who plays their own games more than is probably healthy.

01

Craft

Every mechanic earns its place before it ships.

02

Depth

Simple to learn, hard to fully master.

03

Independence

Self-funded, self-directed, no shortcuts.

Stay In Touch

Follow the climb.

Occasional updates on Aotera and whatever we build next. No spam, no noise. (Will be working soon ;-))
